Safety
The single most important thing we can do to keep people safe is filter out the obvious bad actors before they ever reach you. That's why verification is non-negotiable. But good verification isn't enough on its own — the tips below will help you stay safe and respectful whether you're a client or an advertiser.
Before you meet
- Stick to advertisers who carry the blue verified badge.
- If photos look generic, stock-like, or too-good-to-be-true, they probably are.
- Never send money, gift cards, or crypto up front. A verified advertiser will never ask.
- Share your plans with a trusted friend. Agree on a check-in time.
Meeting in person
- Choose a location you already know and can leave easily.
- Keep your phone charged and accessible. Agree on a safe word.
- Trust your gut — if something feels wrong the moment you arrive, leave.
- Use protection. Always. No exceptions.
Payments
- Cash, only on the day, only in person. Never transfer before meeting. Never pay to a third party "to release" the advertiser.
- babesintown never handles payments between you and an advertiser. Anyone claiming to collect on our behalf is a scammer — report them.
Privacy
- Use a burner phone number or a dedicated messaging app if you're sensitive about privacy.
- Never send identifying documents to an advertiser. We will never ask you for ID.
- Photos and screenshots stay between you and the other party. Don't share, don't re-post.
For advertisers
- Screen clients before you meet. Trust your instincts, and reserve the right to cancel on the doorstep.
- Keep a trusted person in the loop with your schedule and locations.
- Use our verified photo badge — it builds trust and filters out time-wasters.
- Report abusive or unsafe clients through the in-product flag so we can ban them across the platform.
